I’m delighted to write that 2013 is proving to be a bountiful year for the pantry at Real World Job Development thanks to everyone’s generous donations! The days of frantic telephone calls for more food due to shortages have come to a happy end. Now, food is not an issue for the youth who depend so much on our help. There is a sigh of relief among staff and youth. Let us continue moving forward through the end of this year.
I have copied below in the next post the Arizona Republic article “Preparing for Life in the Real World.” Please take the time to read this article as it describes the Real World Job Development program and its purpose. The youths in this article are those who benefit from the J3T food pantry and your continued generosity. It helps convey the value of your monthly food contributions. These youth can focus on work and education without having to worry about affording food every day.
