“Determined people working together can do anything.”
~Jim Casey, Founder of the Jim Casey Youth Opportunities Initiative and UPS

FOUR YEARS!!

Beginning in May 2011, I set out to help fill one bookcase for youth transitioning out of the foster care system who desperately needed food. Thanks to you, the pantry has grown from 1 bookcase to 7 in just four years! We have all worked together to ease the problem of food insecurity at RWJD. Thanks to you, these youth no longer have to worry about when they will eat their next meal. You have not only donated food, but have become advocates for RWJD and helped us grow larger than I could have possibly imagined. The staff and youth at RWJD are so grateful for your support.

Below are two photos that prove that determined people working together can do anything:

This photo is a bulletin board overflowing with stars of achievement awarded to youth at RWJD by their peers. Peer support and encouragement is an integral part of the program.

The second photo shows the full bookcases; we are determined to work together to help stop the problem of hunger.
