October 2013 Newsletter

Hello,

Last week I delivered a car load of food to RWJD. After the youth unloaded the food from the car, I prepared to leave as usual. But as I was leaving, a staff member named Mary came running over to hand me something. It was a thank you note from one of the youth written to each of you who has donated food. Please take the time to read it below:

“In life people will give you all type of things. Some will give you clothes; some will give you the shoes you’ve been waiting for all year. However, who’s given you the things that are good for you. Hard question? Don’t worry, I once couldn’t see anybody in that view either. Until, one day a kind lady by the name of Mary gave me the glasses that allowed me to see the positive views in life. The view where you can actually see the people who cares about you. Thanks for all the donations you’ve given to J3T because if not for you J3T wouldn’t be able to help me.
Sincerely,
[Name withheld]
9/24/13”

A special thanks to the New Shul’s congregants for donating food collected during Erev Yom Kippur. The youth at RWJD thank all of you for your generous donations each month
This month’s request: 3 microwaveable containers of macaroni and cheese (a youth favorite).
Enjoy the start of Arizona’s Fall Season,

Holly
